Centrifuge Overhaul and Service
Overview of Project:
Metal Maintenance was contracted to undertake the 6000hr service of a andritz centrifuge.
Scope of Works:
The service included
- Feed side bearing replacement,
- Scroll inspection,
- Cyclo gearbox grease change,
- Redex Reducer oil change,
- Drive belt replacement, and
- Realignment of the motor
Conclusion/Outcome:
Mechanical fitting of equipment and systems by minimising downtime and implementing cost effective strategies for maintenance.
Task was completed on time and budget. The client was happy with the works completed.
